BITZER GREEN POINT AT ARBS 2018

25.05.2018

Back in Sydney for the first time since 2010, the new International Convention Centre hosted the popular industry expo ARBS from 8th – 10th May. Showcasing hundreds of new products with a focus on innovative responses to emerging trends, the organisers report that more than 9,000 visitors attended, making it the largest show to date.

For decades, BITZER Australia has been introducing its newest innovations at ARBS, with many iconic products and technologies launched at this buzzing industry event. This year was no different with BITZER showcasing its newly launched Australian Green Point division.

Marco Candotti, Managing Director Green Point Asia Pacific, was in attendance for the duration of the show along with Shannon Egan, General Manager of Green Point Australia.

Marco notes that although Green Point has been established for decades globally, the after-sales services brand is relatively new to Australia, and will grow organically dependent on the needs of the market.

“Green Point encompasses training, data monitoring and analysis, logistics, spare parts & oil, technology upgrades for efficiency gains, and commissioning assistance. It is a broad global brand that has already seen great success in other parts of the world, and in Australia we are looking at adapting the selection of services to meet the needs of the industry,” says Marco.

Shannon Egan, General Manager of Green Point Australia, reports that the fledgling Australian subsidiary has already seen strong indicators of growth. Feedback from existing and new customers has been very positive and there was a lot of curiosity at ARBS about the services offered. Shannon adds that the flexibility of Green Point is a key strength.

“We’ve got a combination of dedicated Green Point staff, technical assistance from service partners, combined with great backup and support from BITZER and Green Point globally,” says Shannon.

“This enables us to reach customers all over Australia and New Zealand and really be responsive to the needs of our customers. The response we received whilst presenting our services to the trade at ARBS confirmed that we’re on the right track.”
